Bangladesh Association of Software
& Information Services (BASIS), the largest representative
trade association of Software and IT Enabled Service (ITES)
providers in Bangladesh was formed in 1997. With more than
140 member companies, the association is working closely with
the relevant stakeholders in development of local and international
market for different ICT services. The association has regular
programs for capacity building for member companies. BASIS
is actively involved in policy formulation support to government
with regard to development of the sector as well as appropriate
use of ICT services for the development of the country.
